We built boats and some people built robots on the laptop, they were using pieces from the box, and then when they were done they programed it on the computer, we were also using tubes, and the hook things to make boats we were testing them in the sink to see if they would float, it doesn't matter if they did or didn't, but they had to record it on the piece of paper, and they would be able to race if they had the paper completed.

It is awesome what the students are learning in school these days. I think back to when I was in 5th grade and WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

It is very nice to be able to "see" what my son is talking about.
I think children find learning more interesting when they can have fun and hands on projects. I have a feeling that this project will not only be a great learning project but will also be very fun for the whole class. J.R.P
